In Australia, Epicurious takes you on the Great Ocean Walk to explore the magnificent coastline along Victoria’s Great Ocean Road. On this nature walk you are likely to see Australian native wildlife like koalas, kangaroos, kookaburras and cockatoos.

The new Great Ocean Walk spans 91 kilometres of one of the most remarkable stretches of coastline in the world. The walk takes us through the tall forests, shaded gullies, remote beaches, towering cliffs, pristine estuaries and beautiful coastal heathland of the Cape Otway National Park from Apollo Bay to the Twelve Apostles.

We have selected some of the most spectacular and remote sections of the path to offer a walk that displays the wonderful diversity of habitats in this National Park. The wide ranging forest and coastal environments within the Park also provide an environment for a diverse and fascinating range of Australian native animals.
