Relax to the sound and sight of the sea

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

A Room with a View – the name almost says it all!!
This is a place that invites you to do nothing more than sit and soak up the ever-changing view. A huge ocean expanse framed by a sweeping valley below.
But you can also indulge yourself with an invigorating spa bath or have a sumptuous breakfast delivered to your room each morning. Forget about drawing your blinds so you can gaze at the stars from your bed at night. Be lulled to sleep by the sound of waves crashing at the base of the valley and be awoken by birdsong.

Birdlife abounds here and koalas, kangaroos and wallabies are frequent visitors to both the property and the immediate area. Dolphins and seals may be seen throughout the year below and whales pass periodically, July to October.

The two independent B&B rooms at the western end of the Millar home have been purposely-built and architecturally designed and are extremely private, spacious and comfortable.
For those who can tear themselves away to explore the region, will find that we are central to all attractions along the Great Ocean Road and its hinterland of rainforest walks and waterfalls. And dining options are 15mins drive west to Apollo Bay or 20mins east to Wye River.

Well, what do you say. As a travel agent I’ve seen and been to so many places around the world, who would have known one of the most spectacular views is only 2 ½ hours drive from home. Thanks Angelika, It’s been a great short getaway.

Angie – September 2008
My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time at A Room with a View! The view is spectacular, as are the breakfasts. After four days of sleeping in, with delicious breakfasts delivered to our door, eaten on the balcony taking in the awesome view, having a relaxing day and unwinding in the spa at night – it was very hard to return home.
Thanks for a very relaxing stay! Rating: 5 out of 5

Judy Fiala – September 2008
We have been going to the Apollo Bay/Ottways region for some 40+ years. In the ’60s we stayed in a tiny farm worker’s cottage at Wongarra. And now in 2008 – what a fabulous find, and what a fabulous change to stay at A Room with a View! All the creature comforts that one can imagine, in a gloriously, modern, superbly fitted-out B&B.
The much-loved peace & quiet, the tranquil ocean, the starry skies, the sound of the sea, the bird-song – these are the things that you just don’t get in the city. And to add to all this – the most wonderful hosts – Mr Hilton/Sofitel/Hyatt – you just cannot match Angelika’s A Room with a View!Rating: 5 out of 5
